The 180 flies sooo well I cant keep my hands off of it. The updated AS3X software in that little fbl unit is very smooth and the tiny Talon 15 governs the HS as if it was a 700 size heli!

Here is one of my vids from today. I have a little bit of motor stutter at the beginning of the video when powering up the motor. I have Throttle travel end points set to what the new update in the manual says. 100 low and 110 high. Any idea what I can do to fix the stutter?

You need the castle link and adapter to get into the esc settings. Once in there you can change motor start power to "high" which should reduce that.

Thanks. I will check that. Should I set throttle end points in the castle by having high throttle stick upon plugging in the battery then lowering the stick to zero throttle?

The vid below shows you how to calibrate your TX against the ESC. You only need to do this however if the stock 100/110 settings don't work. Note, you also DO NOT need to change to fixed endpoints mode (from governor) to do this, you can calibrate in gov mode.

EDIT : Just read back about what you're trying to solve. Note that the throttle stick on your TX does not relate to throttle on the 180CFX at all as the ESC is in "set RPM" gov mode. The 25%,70% and 100% values are just "flags" to tell the ESC which prefixed head speed to choose. As above, you can try to tune out the stuttering on startup by using the motor power settings in the Castle Link software.

To be honest though, upping the motor power will reduce flight times. Personally, I'll just stick to a stutter on startup. It's fairly normal, my 180CFX, and my Goblin 500 both do it...

It doesn't reduce flight time, it's motor "start" power. It just increases the power for a fraction of a second to get the motor started moving.
