Default DX7 flight mode switch

Can anyone out there tell me how to assign the 200qx flight modes to the three position flight mode switch on my Dx7.I have only flown helis and cannot figure out how to do it on an acro setting.Following the manual I have two modes on the gear switch and one on the rudder dual rate and would like them on the flight mode switch where they belong. Also is there any way I could use heli settings on my radio to fly quads instead of the acro setting as this would suit me better.I would appreciate your help with this. Thanks

I fly my 200 in heli mode on my dx6i. Straight foward ...think of the 200 like setting up a fp heli, Set up as follows, for the dx6i its all defaults, 90 swash, no mix, no chanel reverse. Set throttle sub trim to 10-15 clicks.
You can set up a different throttle curve on the 1up switch, and as a fixed pitch craft it ignores the pitch curve, so no need to adjudt that. The qyro switch sets the flight modes. Dx6i has only a 2 pos switch so mine is set for 25 agility and 50 for stability, and safe/green mode kicks in at arounfd 75. You also get throttle hold
Hope that helps!

EDIT: Sorry but I thought you were asking about general setup. Don't know how to assign the modes to the proper switch but would like to know as well.

Give this a try. So far it is working for my 200QX. I have an old DX7.

The switches are much like a CP heli. Flight modes switch works fine with Normal, Idle 1 and Idle 2 corresponding to the three Quad Flight modes.

You even get a TC, no more fiddling with the trim to get the motors to stop.

You also get Auto DR/Expo.

The above program has 25% and 20% throttle in modes 1 and 2 at low stick, I changed them both to 0 to be symmetric in inverted flight.

Good luck, and happy flying.
