Default Tool/site to extend the sound library?

I'm currently playing with different Linux tools to create audio prompts for the stuff I need on my models, but not coming up with something I like enough to match the quality of Jeti library. Is there a tool, or a site that allows the generated sound file download, that could produce something that matches existing Jeti voices?

I find the Ivona Salli voice to be very good quality.

Default Ivona Jennifer

For my DC-16, the Ivona "Jennifer" voice appears to be a perfect match.

I have several custom voice files and they seem indistinguishable from the original set.

I'm using yakitome.com, the British woman's voice is close enough for me.

I download the MP3 files and convert to wave using audacity

Have a look there, use Google translate it does an understandable job and there is lots of pictures.

I started also using different language to get my attention for some specific message, either in German, French or Italian, Achtung, Attention. It tends to make it fun and also if you use it for specific warning You don't even have to listen much, the language in which it is told gives away what it is. You will get the value being read in your language of choice.

And yes, Jennifer is the Ivona voice being used by Jeti

That's great info! I didn't realize this. Unfortunately, only Salli comes with the bare-bones package. I will investigate.

Am I the only one thinking that the way she says the word "launch" is weird?

I created my own using ivona software using the Amy (British) voice.

Madeye, I had a few words that did not read out properly. I played around with various incorrect spellings to get them to sound just right!

For example:- the word launch. Could be incorrectly written as laurnch, lawnch etc, and it may sound closer to the natural sounding word. I have not tested this particular word as I do not have my pc with me with ivona installed!

Same here. Sometimes splitting the word in syllables helps also. You have to play around with it.
Some words in English spoken with a voice from an other language are cool too and sometimes sexy

Thanks for the link. There's more juicy staff in that thread, too.
