Default 180CFX advanced settings including DX6i

All, please see this instruction sheet for accessing the advanced settings for the 180CFX. It is possible for all Spektrum 6 channel transmitters and higher.

This doesn't work, when you remove the battery and plug again, all settings are gone, back to default

You have to have firmware version 1.41 or higher for this to work.

As Horizon continues to update and add features to the Blade 180CFX, we will offer these updates free of charge. In order to perform the updates to the Spektrum AR6335, you will need the SPMA3065 update cable.

Hello and question - I have a SPMA3060 USB cable to update the UMX boards. Can I Use that with my 180CFX if I make an adapter to go from the UMX servo plugs to a standard servo plug?! Is the USB interface the same just a different connector? Would be nice to not have to buy another! Thanks

Why not? Have you tried? Are you sure?

What makes you say no?

Well, because a lot of people asked the same question and the answer has always been no.

Well then I guess that makes sense! haha

I'm new with the 180, didn't know if you were guessing or it's been talked about before. I couldn't find anything on it.

Default Problems Entering Servo Centering Mode Dx6i (180 cfx)

Hi everyone its been quite a while..just finally coming off the mend of a few surgeries. So i just picked up a 180 cfx and had no problem binding it and had a little test flight (short hover). I'm trying to enter servo centering mode by powering up the heli while holding the trainer switch and both sticks to bottom outside corners on my Dx6i. It seems to beep twice like normal and then the swash plate tilts hard left. It will still spool up to if I bring it above 0 without TH on. Swashplate seems level (but servos aren't) when powering up normally. When its in this mode when attempting to enter servo cent mode, I cannot select the servos nor is it barely able to level the swash plate with full right cyclic. Sorry to rant but any suggestions? Is it because I have not updated firmware?
