Default Main stream?

Have quadcopters become mainstream?

Just noticed BJs is now selling DJI phantoms. No longer is it online orders from the companies or local hobby stores, but major discount warehouses?!

I heard somewhere local, that Multi rotors out sold every other toyish type gift this holiday season...

Not just planks, not just helis, but it beat GI Joes and barbie dolls too?

It's getting that way for sure. Multirotor retailers are springing up online here everywhere while previously successful heli type stores are going under.

Funnily enough, I've been showing renewed interest in my helis after having them sit about a lot for the last year or so.

Even Verizon is selling quads at their stores.
