Since I just got another 450x, I think mine will stay park on shelf until I'm done crashing my 450x's. Well, I may do a bench test that's about it.

The 360 CFX moves nice, good power from the new motor.
And one more good example of a very bad place to fly...

I love our field. We are going to lose it very soon. starting to build. Gotta find something just as good with pavement to land on.

+1! I used to see those everyday, with the L.A. skyline as my foreground. I sure do miss it.

Today I...

Installed remote receiver
Bound radio to heli
Changed ESC connector (Deans)
Changed six battery connectors (Deans)
Storage charged all six new batteries
Checked to make sure bolts and belt are tight
Went through the Beast X setup

I just went out and test hovered it in the driveway about 10 minutes ago. It's way too dark, cold, and windy to actually fly it It's supposed to be 65 Wednesday, so I'm hoping to get some full flights on it then.

Got to maiden mine today after looking at it for all most two weeks. Life just gets in the way sometimes. Everything went well and it flies great. I did have to adjust the pitch it was +12/-9out of the box. Went through the AR7200bx just to double check everything! So far I like it. Need to get some more flight time.

OK I got the maiden in. I will say from a few things I read I was a tad reserved on it all. BUT it was perfect! As some mentioned it's a tad tail heavy with the eFlite battery, but not enough to cause too much concern for me. I have a couple Pulse 1350's coming in a day or two.

Wow! It is very SMOOTH and quiet compared to my old fly barred 450. Didn't have much room in front of the house here in the mountains so need to get to an open area. Very responsive and take offs and landings were so easy (and did I mention SMOOTH?) compared to my 450. I like the servos too. Seem pretty fast. On spool up it does a tiny funky chicken just for a second, but feel it's the normal dance on the initial spool.
I am impressed and it takes a lot for me to be this impressed and kick my heels so I say winner thus far. I only flew short circuits (no 3D) out front here until I can get to an open area up here tomorrow, but on a 3 minute flight with the eFlite battery the cells were reading 4.0 at end of flight. Timer was set to manual specs, but one who does sport flying I think can easily get 4 minutes out of it. 3D with the stock battery won't yield 4 min. I don't think.

Normal mode almost makes it feel under powered. ID1 was fine. Didn't get into ID2 yet. It sure seems to fly much bigger to me compared to my fly barred 450.

The BeastX seemed to be spot on on all settings out of box. Pitch was dead on both ways.

Overall I am very impressed. So smooth and quiet, but then of course I'm half deaf lol. It is a blast to fly. Very predictive and did I mention smooth? Guessd I'm used to my old 450 jalopy lol

Default What did you do to your Blade 360CFX today?

I gave the tail fin the classic Blade 450 white look:

I like the visibility. Don't like black cf fins

This is the stock CF fin painted w Krylon Fusion flat white

Picture came out kind of blurry. Will try again later. I plan to get a lynx bracket to delete the horizontal fin for a cleaner look (and one less thing to break when it takes a dirt nap)

Brown truck just dropped mine off. $412 delivered from WT.

She had a rough ride, Ar7200bx is dangling.

Is the 3M 4011 tape still the best for securing the Bx? 1 or 2 layers?

1 layer is usually perfect. 2 doesn't hurt

I'm leaving my foamy on for now until i get my mini vbar for it.
