So far I have only seen one guy that had a pic of one upgraded with the Microheli CF skids. Actually thinking about getting a set. I will see if I can locate the pic

Default It hurts so bad

First real heli. And first real crash. Now time to see what I can learn taking her apart. Not sure what all is broke just yet. The part that frustrates me is the crash wasn't a fault of mine. The bird was unresponsive in the middle of a turn rolled and nose dived into the friend.

The good thing is that it looks like it caught some grass. I hope damage is minimal.

I'd say the fs, main shaft, helical main gear, bearing block bearing, and tail boom are probably shot. Oh and the canopy and post too. At least your landing gear survived

I've got a set of Lynx skids on mine that raise the tail a bit, they don't make any that raise it as much as a goblin!

Oddly enough nothing seems damaged in the tail r even the boom. Haven't gotten th chance to really dig into it yet but. Blades canopy canopy mounts linkages main shaft and main hear is all that is showing damage. If that's it with how hard it hit I'm loving this bird!

If I could stop crashing and learn how to fly it I would be much happier. Helical gear, FBL linkage and main blade edge scrape are the damages. Not too bad but dumb accident while landing at full head speed. Practicing mini autos by when I can afford to buy the parts. My 200 SRX broke the bank as it is fully upgraded. Anyways here some pics of mine before crashes with the only aftermarket parts I want to put into it.

Post 49 lots of great pics on the full thread check from page 1.

I havent had much luck painting carbon fiber, maybe its because I didnt use primer or something or maybe you have to sand it or something. It always peeled away on me. So perhaps I should have prepped it in some way. In either case the monocote stickers have never let me down because it holds really well and I can get the right neon colors I like. But definitely post some pics or videos because I would like to see how it looks.

Take care buddy.

The heli "out of the box" is amazing. Lightest thing I have ever flown. I flew yesterday and the wind does tend to smack it around, however the power and stability is a good trade off. It will definitely sharpen your skills and flies totally bigger than what it is. I flew my 600 after I flew the 360 and they felt the same in crispness, but clearly the 600 size won when it came to stability in the wind category.

Nice. How long you been flying? I've just started on my inverted circuits. Got a long way to go.
