Default Parts Available?

Not too sure but it looks like a lot of the parts like belts and booms are not in stock at CYH.

Quote about the Rave Helicopter and I assume the Stingray?

QUOTE. I talked to Brian on Friday about parts availability. From the way it sounds restock parts won't be ordered unless there is a back order demand for them. With Europe and the US distributors dropping off from carrying the CYE models this back order demand will dry up. We have no way of placing an item in cart on back order at CYE Hobbies so it looks like a lose lose situation for us getting out of stock parts back in. The only solution I see at the moment is for all of us ENV/Ballistic owners to send Curtis an email at CYE with parts we are in need of and show him there is still a large number of us flying his helis.

I had a feeling this was coming although it doesn't look all that dire yet. At least most of these could be sourced elsewhere. If any of the other threads talking about this are any indication I wouldn't expect to hear a peep out of anyone affiliated with CYE chiming in.

But just looking at the site it looks like the things that are currently out of stock are.
  • Rotor Base Bearings
  • Rotor Belts
  • Booms
  • Landing Gear
  • Servo Pushrods
  • Orange Blades
I guess I'll be taking it real easy on mine from here on out. It's already kind of a showpiece for me anyways. I bring it out to freak newbies out from time to time... you know those guys who show up out at the field with their new Blade or DJI multirotor that they can barely fly in a circuit and think they're the shiznit.

I've long been a supporter of Curtis... I still am... But I will say his silence on all these matters lacks in professionalism. I defended him quite a bit when he started going silent. At this point there is no reason to not have an official statement. Let people know what's going on "officially."
If I end up selling my barely flown ballistic 635 or my stingray ... It won't be because I'm scared of not having spares.... It'll be for other reasons.
