Thank you, these have been very handy yesterday, I just got my VControl.

Kontronik Jive setup tip. On the second step of wizard, pull the jumper from the ESC immediately after hearing 3 beeps after powering heli up. If you wait for the wizard message screen to show up it will be too late and Jive will not enter programming mode.
I got caught by this (and a couple of other people too).

Basically, second step of ESC wizard just sets a 0-100 throttle curve, so Jive can be programmed.

Thank you for the video's they were very helpful as a new Vcontrol owner

Still trying to figure out the Castle Creations esc setup. I typically lower the endpoints then increase them until it beeps then two clicks more. Seems like when I select other esc wizard it just does the high and low stick there's no radio endpoint adjustment.
I'm not sure if the process is working correctly because after it completes it kicks the vbar into external governor mode and I have to select vgov again.

Maybe I'm over thinking it and just need to turn on the esc at high stick and then lower it for the low stick adjustment.

Never mind if I'm reading the Vstabi site correctly no end point calibration is required when using Castle ESC's. That's good because there's no way to accomplish this with the VControl that I can find.

Actually there is an esc endpoint calibration tool under setup/gov setup. Puts a linear throttle curve on the collective stick and gives you endpoint adjustment. While it may not be required with Castle radios I used this tool to fine tune mine.

I have a quick Vbar satellite question. I'm not home, so I can check tomorrow, but I thought I'd just ask first. Can I simply swap a satellite back and forth between vbars without any binding or programming? Basically in theory could I bring 2 planes and a Heli to the field and simply plug in the satellite in the airframe I want to fly? I'm kind of thinking I can, and that all the pertinent information is just stored in the Vbar itself!

Got a pm reply, yes you can, sorry for posting in a sticky, it was an accident, I can remove this post if desired.

If you have the servos set geometrically correct, no need to redo them. Just go through the setup and all will be good
