10 pole motor is the new 3rd generation (G3) version and the one you want. Even more powerful and efficient than the older 8 pole versions.

I have a 600XF-1100-G3 in my Logo 550 and it's powerful and efficient. Great flight times when I stay out of the collective and cool running no matter what. 8 flights back to back today and motor never exceeded 132F (219 max amps today on 6S). Air temp was 89F.

jmackey,

Hello to you, would you mind sharing your setup for the 600XF-1100 G3 as I fly my in a E5 with a Castle 120 ESC and both motor and ESC are "very hot" temps are in the 160 degree range for both. I fly mild 3D fights 3:30 on the timer.

thanks

I'm using a Kontronik Jive Pro 120 on this heli with timing set to auto, Ri-Comp at 007 to match the motors internal resistance and P-Gain set to 7 now. 12T mod1 pinion and 106T main gear. +-13 degrees collective running 82% throttle @2250 headspeed now. 6S-4400-60C Revolectrix packs.

Is the 160F on your ESC the high temp in your logs? If so, that's not really that bad. I don't get too concerned until I'm pushing over 185 on ESC. 160F on motor isn't excessive either. Patrick may chime in, but I know it's designed for significantly higher temps than that. Maybe you would benefit from cooling holes in canopy?

I just cut a new cooling hole in my Logo 550 tonight as summer is definitely here in the Midwest now.

What is your gearing and headspeed? 6S?
