Does the receiver have a sum signal output? If yes, what kind of signal?

I did something stupid today and tried to change the bottom plate to another color. In doing so i pulled both receiver plugs off with it . i tried to micro solder them back on to no avail. is there any other way to fix the neuron or am i screwed and have to get another one ?

I think you may have destroyed that. The copper has been pulled off the pcb, so there's nothing left to solder the pins to. If you have very good soldering skills you may be able to trace the tracks on the board back to another solder pad and add link wires to the sat ports.

You could use a single line standard receiver SBUS without those plugs.

Yes the Frsky Minima receiver is Sbus so to speak actually it's cppm but it's the one wire connection needed. The problem that I'm having is that the channels are not being recognized correctly.

Default Frsky Minima and Eznov Neuron

I am still not able to work the channels out is this normal with this Frsky Minima receiver? Is there anyone running Hitec a9 and the Minima rx with a neuron?

It will work, but the channel order is a bit quirky. In the neuron pc software advanced menu you can assign the channel functions as required.

I found the software to be incredibly buggy with regard to setting the channels.

For some reason they are assuming that the channel order coming over SBUS is the same order that Futaba uses. I use FrSky equipment with Spektrum channel order (since that's what I learned on).

The channel numbers as seen in the software are not necessarily the channel numbers that are output from your transmitter. In order to get it working, I had to choose channel numbers in the software that I knew for a fact were wrong

Yes, I also would describe it as buggy. It took me several attempts to get it right, and the final configuration was nothing like what I expected it to be. But it is possible, which is nice.

I mostly fly skookum 540's which don't allow you to map channels in the gyro. Very frustrating as my JR9303 doesn't allow channel mapping either. Have to use an hitec A9 with those gyros.

Otatiaro, If we all say please please, could you then give this integration another try?

Could be a killer feature for my favourite FBL controller :-)

Best regards
Kim

Sorry but there will be no JETI integration (would have been nice ...).

Not at the moment ... We are considering a kickstarter campaign to finance the first production batch.

Let me know if you think it could be a good idea.

From the business point of view it is suggested, to consolidate the activities. The momentum of neuron is lost because of lacking support, no updates etc... the unit and the software where up to date on release. Now it lacks support of telemetry, SRXL is buggy etc... I sold one of my units and will probably use a brain instead. However, I like the flying behaviour of the neuron very much.

No one today buyes a unit that had no udates in the last months.

So don't do 5 things in parallel, just do one thing with maximum engagement.

When you have a neuron software with all the up to date features (bi-directional srxl, vibration analysis, optimized tail bounce back behaviour...), go for the bigger unit with logging and so on. If you have to admit, that you don't have the ressources to achieve all that - don't even try it from a business point of view.
