Default R5 7S batteries
The R5 is about to be released. Even though I'm not going to get the airframe at lanch I'm specing it out and buying accesories when a good deal comes up.

I have a 14S capable ESC (scorpion 160) for this bird but I can't seem to find any batteries that would fit. I believe 12S 3500 is what Gaui recommends which would put 14s around 3200mAh.

Are there any 7s batteries around this size? I haven't found any

I think you should pick based on grams and dimensions not MAH. I think you will have to wait until launch

Yes, of course. Even so, there doesn't seem to be anything out there yet. I'm in no hurry though, not going to pick up first batch of this helicopter anyway.
