Default MicroHeli Folding 3 Blade Tailrotor Prop

Anyone using the MicroHeli folding 3 blade tailrotor prop assembly on their 230s? If so, how do you like it? Worth doing?

Yes. I put one on one of my 230s along with a 300c fuselage. The head works very well. I would purchase it again.

@ the fox,

you can order them at Microheli Vietnam, your package will be delivered in Europe (Germany,...)

I was one of the lucky winners (contest december 2019 - Microheli) and got a carbon frame and 3 blade carbon tailrotor prop for free.

hi all, anyone have updates on how theirs is working? I was on the microheli site and saw 2 options for lengths of CF tail rotor: 85mm and 90mm folding.

If I'm not flying 3D and mostly just working on general skills and scale flying, is there any recommendation on length? I assume the 90 with more surface area generates more thrust? Still a bit new to the game so would love your thoughts!

Thanks!

I am using the 90mm on my 230s V1. I just fly fast Sport flying with the V1. The Prop is working awesome ! it is a lot quieter than the stock prop also. I think I'm going to order one for my V2 !

Can someone post a close up pic of it installed on the motor. thanks in advance.

Also, are motors running hotter/cooler with this installed?
