The Neuron is a great product and I am a big fan. I am sure it will work just as well in a 700 gasser as it does in an electric 450! I have no doubt about it!

That said, development has kind of slowed down (well, let's be honest... it has stopped) and I'm not sure I would recommend purchasing a new one at this point. For a few dollars more, I would look at a Spirit which is continuing to invest in product improvements and new capabilities (like GPS integration).

Again, don't get me wrong... the EZNov is awesome and I have several... it is just a bit difficult to recommend a product that is not being actively enhanced and refined.

Thanks for the reply.

I know a guy who has a few spares after moving on to vbar. He wasn't sure if they would cope with a gasser which was the reason for asking, but I think he'd be willing to let me try it and sell me one for a good price if it works.

Try it, will fly fine I guess. I liked the neutron feeling very much. Unfortunately, its a outdated system but if you can have it for free or a good price... why not.

Not recommend purchasing this FC.

Purchased FC at January. Support was just at purchase time.. They send me broken item >> At big load like fast switching hold switch or moving sticks very fast - neuron restarting <<

After one month received replacement and same issue!!! So before my heli crashed because FC from beginning was broken.. and i have lost some parts, purchased new esc etc.

And now second month waiting for support reply. So half of year from purchase this sh*t going.

Sorry but your problem sounds like back EMF from the servos causing the issue, it can happen with any flight controller, although some are better at coping than others. Can you describe your setup, servos, model, ESC/BEC, buffer pack?

Thanks, but yours guess wrong.. It is simple power regulator at Neuron PCB not hold high current like more than 6V 2A.

In short all servos ESC`s is new, all original from Align, not used because Neuron restarting at high load, with warranty.

Yeah, I had similar issues with mine.I think there is very little power supply filtering in the neuron. There has to be compromises when making something so tiny.

If you haven't completely lost patience with it, try it again with a battery powering the servos, not a BEC or regulator.

I can't be certain, but I think it was motor noise from the main motor that was the biggest problem for me.

You used a 4s battery to connect to the FBL and servos?

Sure, why not? ESC have BEC, so ESC drop voltage to 5-8.4V

Ok, let me get this straight, you connected your 4s pack to your ESC and the BEC supplied the servos and you are blaming the FBL for burning them all out? I would be looking at the BEC in the ESC as being the problem, not the FBL.

The explanations in the software is very vague
So how much help do you get on your VBC to NEO during setup?

A lot of what Mikado has on its website does not fully explain what a function does. This is understandable when under the control of an engineer as it looks clear to them.

With maturity others work things out and provide missing detail.
