Default Mechanics for small Vario Jetranger

Hello!

I got Vario 1:6.5 Jetranger Fuselage for little money.
This fuselage is prepared for the vario skyfox mechanic. That one is old and pretty expensive for what you get.

Anyone knows what else would fit? It's a bit odd sized. I think it is for 650 blades.

Maybe a T-rex 600 with cut down 700 stretch? I am not sure if that fits though.

Anyone here did something similar?

The fuselage:

The fuselage does look quite nice and mostly quite authentic to the real one must say. I haven't seen this Vario fuselage before, maybe a suggestion ask Vario what mechanics fit into there product, if you don't get any info from colleague builders.

Best Regards,
Peter

The vario Skyfox fits. It is expensive and rather crap though. I'd rather not spend 1 grand on a mechanics that can take max 2kw motors and has a plastic tail. The whole thing is from the 90's.

Hello,

It might be the older version of Vario 650 size Jetranger.

I've seen some guy fitted a T-Rex 600E into this Vario Jetranger, It worked fine.

Could you post more pictures? particularly side view and close up?

Not sure the Vario scale is accurate looking to the actual full size.

I know a few scale fuselage which is very close in profile to actual Bell JR without much modification require.

Cheers,
Helikid

Yes Vario mechanics is quite expensive, if T600E fits than you have problem solved,.. Enjoy the build!

Thank you. I will look into the 600E and measure if it fits. Igotta finish my current project first though. A 700 sized hughes 500E that I bought crashed. It is ready to fly again, only missing new glass. If all goes well I'll put a five blade head on there and then build the jetranger.
