Ok so I called Hitec and the new optima 8 sl is both compatible with the Aurora 9 and 9x so all you guys that have the Aurora 9 there is now a reciever that's sbus compatible with your radio and you no longer need the wire kit to run your fbl units

The problem, for me, is that I got tired of waiting for it.
It was supposed to be available at the end of August.
Who knows when it will ever be available.
I keep checking at Tower, nope, not available yet.

The optima (A9) is the one that was on Hitec's website stating that it would be out Late August. That is the one that I was referring to. The Maxima (A9X) was already out.

I have just set up my mikado logo 480 xxtreme using the Optima 8 SL reciever and my Aurora 9. It seems to work fine on the bench, with a single line connected to V-bar, using s-bus setting in the V-bar setup. So.... waiting impatiently for flying weather.

Hi, did you change your sub-trims and did you reverse throttle and elevator channel to get it working properly?

I simply cannot get my beastx plus to recognize the sbus signal from my optima SL receiver. Any suggestions?
