Default Is 2s possible?

This is an off the wall question. I'm setting up an FPV cam for my 180. ELGAEŽ FOV160 FPV200-set with LT200, V700 and it runs on 2s or 3s. I'm not crazy about adding the extra weight. Has any tried to run a 2s to the 180qx's 5-in-1 Control Unit without frying it?
I wanted to run 1 battery now it seems I will have to run a separate 2s battery.
Yea I know it sounds crazy but, I would think someone has tried it by now.

You can run two batteries independently of each other, but not together.

Don't use the 2s to run the 180qx. You'll burn out the FC.

Envoy: Are you saying that you are running 2S to the 180QX's FC? If yes, have you noticed any ill effects of running the 180QX above recommended voltage?

I was going to suggest that you use a Pololu step-up regulator to get the 1S voltage up to the 5 or 6V that your FPV setup requires. Running a 2S LiPo with a step-down regulator to the FC would be another option, provided that your step-down can provide sufficient current (amps).

So are you running two separate LiPos (1S for FC, 2S for cam)? Or are you running the usual 1S LiPo for FC/motors, and a step-up regulator to the FPV cam?

I am going to get a FPV system for my 180 also. I know they can`t carry much weight so I was thinking about getting this system

Never had one before but I am thinking this will be light enough.
Looks like yours is carrying the FPV setup ok Envoy2004. Where did you get your setup at?
