Beautiful work Lupus.

That a 230s in the shell? What about the head and tail rotor?

I could do with a four blade rotor on my 230s for an Apache build.

I like it! I would be scared to fly it, I think.

Here is the 5blade of walkera. But you can also use the 5blade of Rakonheli. You need an other main frame with main gear, our adapter and some items of Blade Bo 105.
The tail rotor is 3D printed.

Difficult to see what is left from the 230s, if anything, to go in these beautiful shells.

The Rakon parts are from the 130x and 200 SRX; that consists of the hub and grips. The connecting rods and feathering shafts are from the Blade 130x Red Bull. All these parts are still available.

However the 130x five blade swash is now discontinued and would not fit on the 230s main shaft anyway, good luck trying to find one, and the 200SRX swash is for a fixed pitch arrangement with two servos although that is currently available from Rakon.

The frame is not from Blade, neither 130x, 230s or 200SRX. I seem to remember you use a discontinued Walkera frame which I have been unable to source in the UK after over a year of searching.

Disappointingly, it does not seem to be a viable build. I wish it were.

Please feel free to correct anything I have wrong.

There are several variations. The hull of Sea King is only 53 mm wide, the main gear of the 230S 70 mm! One can take the main frame and gear 104 teeth from Rakonheli. The three servos attached to it is however not quite easy.

The other variants are parts of Walkera.
Main frame HM-V200D01-Z08
Support for servos HM-V200D01-Z09
Main gear wheel 40 mm (!) HM-CB180Z-15
This variant I use often.

Lupusprimas, How sturdy are the shells you offer? I got two of the vacuum form thin ones from someone making them in the US, and they did not last long at all. Also, what is your website for ordering and pricing. They look really nice and you have them modded up well. Can you post some flying videos of them? Thanks, Scottheli

I did not see any videos with the blade 230s installed, like maybe the jet ranger.

I'm not looking for the vacuum form. I'm looking for a more sturdy shell, but not heavy fiberglass. Some of yours look like a sturdier and thicker plastic that the mechanics slide into, not the two halved side piece shells. Basically, I'm want a Bell 407 that the canopy removes forward with magnets just like the larger scale helicopter fuselages that a blade 230s will slide into for ease of installation. Thanks

Since you will not find much in size. There are only a few hulls like this made of PET, GFK / fiberglass is usually much too heavy. A Bell 407 in size I do not know worldwide.

Next one. EC 135 in color of German DRF. With "Fenestron" and four-blade, here not from Rakonheli (can also use). Is from Solo Pro 229 with blades of TRex 250.
