.

There's lots of good input for Wild.

Want to go mild with mine.

Getting ready to order the kit. Need advice on Motor but it looks like the MSH Xnova is priced really well.

I'm shooting to 1600 -- 1800 head speed and was thinking about trying to find a lower KV Motor than 500

500kv + 18t pinion is only slightly over geared for 1800 rpm so I don't see much reason to go lower kv. Plus if you ever want more head speed it's easy to just pinion up. You probably won't find a better deal than the stock MSH motor for something brand new.

I have had a lot of different 700's. Trex 700 DFC, Raptor E700, Goblin 700, Logo 600SE. This is by far my favorite. The setup of this model was so easy with the pinch bolt servo arms and the MSH setup tool. I could not be happier. Here's a pic of the wiring... Special thanks to the HF community for helping with all the questions I posted. Special thanks to OTS for answering my PM's I sent. Looking forward to the first fun fly of 2016 March 18-20 at Birmingham Fun Fly!

On a side note... How do I copy the original post correctly.

Nice set up dobis. Where are you mounting the Rx pack? On the back of the plastic frame?

Michaelinpr,

Yes, mounted it on the rear side frame. Works out perfect with the lead coming off the power buss and the battery lead wraps underneath the back bottom of the frame to connect.

Nice! I hear that's a great event.

I would hot glue all the servo connections on the power bus and on your Neo.

Hard to tell from the picture, but maybe the satellites are shadowed a bit by the upper frame?

OTS,

I did hot glue all the connections on the power buss. Wiring looked too good on the Neo to mess it up with hot glue. I will hot glue it though to be safe.

Be sure to hot glue the sat cable ends as well. I also squish a little glue through the wires where they enter the connector. Stops them from a premature failure.

I see the Rx lipo now in the photo. I decided to mount mine to my flight packs. I got one for each set of packs. They are only 1000mah so they weren't pricey nor heavy. Looks clean too.
