Default Compass 3D+ Videos

OK, I have had this for a little while and now just getting to it. I shot the "What's in the box" before IRCHA. I am probably not going to do a full build videos series on this simply because it is very close to the Knight 3D. So I will probably just do some overview and differences videos.

So here is "What's in the box"
VIDEO -> Compass 3D+ - What's in the box! (63 Megs)

More to come.

Bob

Looking forward to this one too. I've been having a itch to change all the stuff I have on my trusty T600 to a 3D+ airframe to see how it is. I'm curious to see if it really flies a lot lighter. Is there a compass FBL head for this size already?

It flies a lot lighter than the T600N. You can either convert the grips to FBL with their FBL arms and fix up a 10mm swash driver (COmpass ones is you canstill find them or Mikado Logo work) Or you can use their novel all in one FBL head and driver.

I have both a T-Rex 600N and a Knight 3D, the predecessor to the 3D+.

I'm not affliated with either brand in anyway other then as a hobbyist.

The difference between the two is unbelievable. I have the pitch ranges maxed out on both. The Knight flips, rolls, climbs and does everything faster then the T-Rex 600N. I do like my T-Rex for practicing my collective management and basics, but the Knight 3D makes me look better then I am at 3D.

The 3D+ as I understand it is even lighter then the Knight 3D, and has a lower profile and higher CG, which can only mean it's even faster and tighter. If I ever ball up my Knight 3D, I'll replace it with the 3D+ for sure.

Default speaking of,

here's the awsome 3d plus fbl I won at ircha.
it flys great,tight,and more stable than flybar,
I went right down and bought a microbest from the man himself,and had it set up and ready to fly in no time.

Yes it has CF frame, and also there's many people that have their 3D Plus in Flybarless setup, you can see some pictures of them posted from their owners in the pictures thread on the Compass Model forum.

Not yet but soon. A local friend wants my old Knight 3D so I am going to let him have it for a while. He will be taking my electronics out of it probably this weekend. Then I will get started on it.
