Default Homemade frames

For my Blade 600 X I made some replacement frames from .090 fiberglass, they work great. The materials cost $6 each.

I made some frame stiffeners after cracking my frame where the center main shaft mounts near the vacant servo hole. That cheesy little stiffener made of CF that goes between the center main shaft mount and the motor mount broke as well. I used CE in the crack of the frame and then added my stiffener which goes from the top main shaft mount to the center main shaft mount.

Just curious... How did you cut those frames?

Default Stiffeners

I made these from a broken frame set I had which ironically was also broken in the same spot. The stiffeners I made were actually from the rear servo holes and I flipped them to make them work for the front vacant servo hole. I haven't finished shaping the last one so it has not been installed yet.

Blade makes the 600X frames out of 1.5mm CF. Align uses 2mm on their 600. Very noticeable when comparing them side by side.
