Default Battery Fit

I have looked through the threads to see what others have done about the tight battery fit. I did a little head scratching and found this will work. ( and it is to easy ) The motor power wire connector just needs to be swung around cross ways under the motor and just fold the wires to be clear of moving parts.there is plenty of clearance from the can and pinion. Having both the Bind plug and motor wire connector along the side the cockpit there is just not enough room. You can have the wires forward into the nose like the instructions say also. It is a better fit, it almost drops right in.It is easier to remove the battery the way I have it shown. I just pull on the balance plug and it pulls right out.

I have one fight on it ...A little windy tonight took right off and everything was level and solid. Will do a few cycles and will follow up.

Yep,that's been covered in the threads.

I also cut off the shrink wrap and put on a folded piece of tape on the battery to grab so it's easier to get in and out.

Hey Nytro97!

I would be interested to see what you did in a picture. My motor connector does not have any slack and all and it will not slide under the motor. Also which direction are you putting the battery into the heli. They don't seem to fit with the wires facing forward as they show in the manual LOL. I don't have the patience right now for my new one.

I have one that has been down since February as the receiver cannot be setup correctly (what I mean is just the default Apache firmware found on Spektrumrc.com for the AR6335. I checked to see what was in my new one and I am putting the right file in there but the receiver will not bind when I use the firmware show for the Apache. It will bind with the default firmware for that receiver, but the ESC will not fire off. I bought a backup receiver and ESC and they do exactly the same thing. Weird.). I will probably send the new one back and keep hoping to get the original squared away. I have spoken with HH support several times with no luck. I wish I could send it back to the manufacturing facility and let them fix it. Probably take two minutes.

Anyway I would love to see some images for future reference.

Can't find my own post... on mine, I just had to tuck the motor and bind connector on the side, then the battery fits with the wires toward the front of the heli.

How did you get that jammed in the nose. I was afraid I was going break mine as it just doesn't want to go in there with the wires towards the front. I'm basically ready to tell HH where to put the battery.

Default Battery fitting

I have a little more patience today. Motor wires are along the side. The bind plug is turned under the motor laying flat. This is my original Apache and the power lead is a little shorter than the new one so it is not as much of an issue.
