Starting the 1200DP mod and have a question.
OK, I know this was asked and somewhat answered earlier but I still do not understand something. How is it that connecting 2 12V, 900W power supplies in series equals 24V, 1800W?
I was under the impression that in series it would add the voltage but maintain the current and adding in parallel maintains the voltage and adds the current.

12v x 75A = 900W


24V x 75A = 1800W


Only the voltage increases, the amperage remains the same

And, with the resistor mod, you can get them up to about 13.2 volts (theoretically up each 13.5, but I never got it quite there) or
13.2 x 2 x 75a = 1980.
