You can use a servo extension for easier access.

I've been removing the top few bolts and canopy magnets for the esc battery tray and loosening the bottom 2 allowing it to hinge up for access but an extension would be nice.

Nearly finished my first P380 today. All I have left to do is to hot glue a few things and do the head setup.

Hoping for a maiden this weekend!

Maidened. Got 5 packs in before the rain decided I'd had enough fun. Slippery little sucker after flying the max yesterday. Getting around 4 minutes on 1550 nanotechs and will probably buy some gens ace 1600s so I can use them on a 12s 500 as well.

Kinda nervous to say anything bad about it around here now. I like it but it won't be replacing my x3. Autos slightly better than 380mm bladed x3, I'm guessing due to the longer hub. Different pitch but roughly the same dB level between the 2. Slightly better visibility, x3 canopy shape and color schemes aren't the best. P380 tail performance is phenomenal compared to the x3. This is with zeal 68mm blades and exact same tail servo I had in the x3 even with the sped up tail shaft. Even the 3 blade tail conversion on the x3 wasn't as strong as the p380's.

Express your honest opinions man, if ppl don't like it they can go @$#* themselves. I want honest, unbiased opinions on this heli not fanboy smoke and mirrors.

If the 380 has vastly superior tail authority then there has to be a major reason elsewhere why you don't think it will be replacing your X3??

Sounds like you've had enough flight to get a feel for it so I doubt it's just a matter of not being used to it yet. Trying to decide what to buy next, the 380 or Oxy4 so I'm looking for all the info I can get.

Of course if you can't mention anything you dislike or feel could be better in this forum without getting ripped apart, that's about enough to send me straight to the Oxy in itself.

Ppl have different taste, just cause there's something you don't like doesn't mean it's something that bothers everyone else. Kinda what this site is about. Helping each other and sharing things we like and don't like and explaining why.

You don't like it this way, he doesn't like it that way and I prefer things right down the middle of the 2. Knowing all that can help ppl decide what heli to get and which setup to use or not use for their particular taste

one thing I notice that stands out on the p380, among several things, is the canopy magnets are freakin powerful! they have a mind of their own as im sliding the canopy on, their already connecting themselves. good job msh and I didn't have to pay extra to get them..another +1

I had a fantastic time today. Successful maiden at 2800RPM. I really didn't do any tuning. It just flies great. A very light, nimble machine that is just so smooth.

Good luck to everyone and their maidens.

I am a happy Helifreak today !

Broke the tail pitch control rod in flight. I don't think just the metal ends are available are they? I have to buy the whole kit?
