It would not make it better, they use same bearings.

i ca glue in the bottom main shaft bearing as i have had the gear pop off and the bearing fall out in a crash. The gear is hard enough to find in the grass but forget about the bearing.I also use hisky gears , they seem to work better

I'm currently trying lining the main shaft bearing pocket sides with CA glue and letting it dry to form a layer to make it smaller, then I'm installing the bearing. Time will tell if this helps. I haven't lost a bearing since I started doing this, but it's only been a couple of weeks so far and I usually only lose one bearing every month or two anyway.

I've also stopped picking up a crashed heli by the head as I had one bearing pop out and get lost when I picked up the heli by the rotor hub when the main gear had already popped off.

I own both, V977 canopy is thicker a little, so it looks like it is stronger.
Anyway both could be repaired with duct tape infinitely

Default Alternate main blades

I've tested now the bullet blades from the HCP100S. They are almost the same size. They fly at least as well, maybe even a little bit more stable. So highly recommended if you need new blades.

You can get a pack of 10 sets for only 12 bucks:
http://www.banggood.com/10-Pairs-His...p-1047523.html

The plastic in these and the stock ones seem great - much like the stock Blade main blades. I've btw always preferred bullet blades on all my Nanos and mCPX'es as well. Also for 3D.

Sounds great! I did a comparison with 2x 1S 450 mAh batteries vs the stock 2S 450 mAh battery - and it does indeed seem "too" heavy:

Would you be so kind as to link me to the battery - so I'm 100% sure I get the right one? Is there also a Graphene version now?

Here is the link and there is a higher C rated one as well.

PS don't believe their listed weights, they are lighter.

OK, lets try again! This is from the US, you could order from any of their warehouses.

I used a digital micrometer to check mine at the same spot on the top. The V977s were .34mm & .36mm and the K110 was .35mm. I think there must be some manufacturing variance if your V977 is thicker than the K110, I wouldn't count on it always being like that. My V977 canopies are the newer 4 hole design, not the old 2 hole design.

I would weight test them, but they have too much packing tape on them! lol

Edit: I just measured multiple points around a couple of canopies and the thickness varies quite a bit from point to point and canopy to canopy, by as much as 50%. So the only true test would be to weigh them, but too many repairs on mine to do that.

Twilight_Sun, do you have two un-taped canopies and a good scale? Inquiring minds want to know which to buy! lol

OK, so the 35-70C

Did you try the 45-90C, any difference? And is it heavier?

Edit: I just ordered 3x 45-90C packs:

I also ordered this canopy (not positive it fits but I would guess so) for the HCP100S:

My mechanical micrometer says that k110 - 0.20mm, v977 - 0.31mm
I've measured the same point on both - flat part near right rear grommet.
Both are cut a little (near skid) and have some tape (not a lot)
k110 - 1.99g
v977 - 2.64g . it looks like it is a significant difference

also I have near a new canopy for v977 (without cuts) - 2.60g and 0.25mm on left side (right one has small amount of tape on that place. but near it - 0.30mm)

By the way they have different behavior in "nose to ground" crashes. V977 can survive more force but tend to crack only. k110 could be jammed sometimes with no cracks. I dunno what is better.

Of course I can say only about mine ones. k110 is stock one. v977 one is stock one is aftermarket.

P.S. and both v977 ones without one grommet

I have an untaped K110 canopy, it is 2.24g. Looks like there is a bit of variation between them. My V977s have a full layer of "crack preventative" tape inside so it's pointless to weigh them. The V977 canopy is $2 cheaper so I'll be ordering them. Both canopies seem to hold up fairly well compared to Blade and smaller Walkera.

Edit 08-27-16 My new K110 arrived, it's canopy is 2.60g, .36g more than my old one.

Good idea to have this handy, so you will not dry your packs that low.

Hey guys,

I still have stock K110 canopy, didn't brake it yet. I think I read somewhere that if you add duck tape on the canopy when it is still fresh you can extend it's life for almost forever. What do you think about that? Do I have to apply it from the outside or the inside for better protection against cracks?

I use clear packing tape applied to the inside of the canopy. You can also the use spray-on clear PlastiDip to coat the inside of the canopy, it's the stuff people use to coat the handles of tools and such. If you use PlastiDip then break the tips off of toothpicks and insert the tips into the canopy grommets before you spray it on. I put stuff on the inside of the canopy because it looks better, I don't know if inside or outside is stronger.
