My guess is minimal damage. Back in the summer I slammed mine into the deck, inverted from 20'. Just flipped it over and right back up.

Got a K110 with TX a couple of months back as I wanted to have one micro in my hangar, 2but not one I would have spend half of my life fixing like all the many Blade micros I learned on. Love the K110 and still have yet to replace A SINGLE PART!

So... a while back, my wife asked me if I would help her learn to fly, so I got another K110, BNF. Made a new model in my TX and programmed it over the weekend. As soon as the wind dies down, I'll do a calibration flight, test and tune, and hand it over.

I don't think there was ever a better heli to learn on... Wish these had been around when I was learning.

Bought another 110 to go with the two I have. Considering how durable these are I figure now I'm set for life, with two spares just in case. I truly love these birds.

For those of you that got a new k110, could you please tell if, comparing the main motors holes, if they are big hole or small ones?
There are 2 main motors around, one has more power than the other, doesn't big doing stunts.
Motor, does it has heat shrink around the wires?
I guess the one without heat shrink is the upgraded motor.

Pic would help

Here is my post with a photo of both motors side by side.

My newest K110 (1-2 months old) is a small hole motor, it has almost as much power as my big hole, and way more power than my June small hole.

You made me look at the one I purchased back in May. It doesn't have the heat shrink (3 discreet wires) and has the larger holes if that helps you narrow down when the change took place. Possibly it is just what they have in stock at the time of production. Kind of like the RTF radio you get could vary and have or not have the charger jack and the plugged extra switch holes labeled.
Mine was purchased via Amazon (Marketplace seller Hobby-Wing) and RTF.

Would help to know where you got it from
And if it was a RTF or BNF

BB,
Problem is, that I have 2 k110 with Spin motor both and they need the graphene packs, otherwise the nanotech would not work whit this motor.
I have 10 nanotech packs, or more, I'm looking for a BNF version that has the big hole motor to use this packs.
That's why I'm asking

Thanks

I got my big hole motor K110 from eBay seller domecool, who is a sub-dealer of TomTop I think. But, domecool stopped selling the K110.

So, I ordered another K110 more recently from another TomTop sub-dealer, tomorrohome, and received a small hole motor version, but it has almost as much power as the big hole, and definately more power then my June K110. It's currently $58.89 shipped from the US.

Both of my most recent K110s will fly 3D on any battery just fine, so I have just been using the Goo batteries for them and saving my graphene & Hyperion batteries for the V977s and the older K110. I think it's just luck of the draw which motor you get, but the general trend seems to be that all motors are improving over time, at least among my 5 personal V977/K110.

Default Xk k120 kitchen hovering with new canopy

Just finished vacforming a new canopy for my modified frame for t-3 xk k120. Tried some hovering in my 1.5x2 micro-kitchen... The hell is quite stable even after setting expo to +20... Now waiting for a warmer day to test it outdoor. Thinking of a 3 points landing skids (tail fin and two small front fins) to get rid of the standard ones and save some grams..

Put my 200th flight on my 110's. I have two of them and have no idea how many are on each of them.

Put on some Lynx Axe 100 CP blades I had laying around. Also found a matching tail blade.. not sure what it was meant for...maybe a mcpx bl. Regardless, it flew more stable and more punch; however, did bog a little more on weak packs. Thinking some stronger packs and this setup will be solid!

Took advantage of decent weather to put in a few packs today, working on my inverted flight and making fun of my friend James, who's XK 110 hasn't arrived yet.. What a fun little heli!

XK 110 on last day of 2016 (4 min 38 sec)
