Default BLS251 or DS8900G

I'm trying to decide on one of these for use with my spartan. Anyone have experience with both? Any recomendations. Does the 251 have a metal case?

both are so close to each other that it would be very hard to tell the difference without precision measuring equipment. Both will perform excellent.

The specs say the 8900g is faster though.

251 has failed with one of my buddies, the other is a Mikado guy in which the V-stabi unit likes the 251 better for the frame rate and some of the Mikado guys are reporting failures...

8900 all day.

Futaba has a way to go on the ole BL's I believe to get then as bullet proof as most of their stuff is....

Go ask this question on the Mikado forum and just see what the general consesus is now...

The 251 I saw fail was this last weekend on the tail of a Synergy... Linkage was smooth...

IMHO!
