Default warp 360

For some strange reason my warp does not fire up. Last night I flew several packs and returned home with my heli in one piece, this morning it the motor would not kick in, no throttle. I tried rebinding and the results were nil. I did not crash or change any setting. Hope some one can help me.

And what has power and what doesn't.

What did you try to do to fix the problem?

If it is a BeastX based FBL make sure you didn't bump in some throttle trim.

Sing23,

Make sure that the BEC in the ESC is providing power to the AR7200BX.

I remember your machine-it flew GREAT!

Problem fixed throttle trim to high, Ah Clem just wondering if you could send me the set up for the beast and my tx (dx6) ? My heli started to act very strange after the throttle fix. Not sure what happen but it flew out of control, I might have messed it up trying to fix the other problem. I tried to pm you but your box is full.

Sing,

When Ah Clem sends you the setup stuff (if he still has it), the thing you might want to seriously consider is sitting down and try to figure out what does what. I know I will be willing to help you with any question you may have if I know the answer. I'm sure any team member will do the same thing, as well. The bottom line is this: The more you learn the less time you spend trying to figure out what's wrong. All of us have been there and all of us are willing to help. I know I spent six months learning how to set up a helicopter properly, so if I can do it, you can, too!

Hang in there!

Scott

Seems I spend more time fixing instead of flying, thanks for the encouragement

I think you need to step back and realize that learning about this stuff is paramount. Until you learn what stuff does on your transmitter and any other electronics component, ask. Read the manuals--Particularly for your FBL unit. Typically, you set your transmitter as stated in the manuals for the Beast X and leave the transmitter alone. So, for a BeastX, no trim, no subtrims, enpoints all set to 100 and -100 (except for your throttle, based on your ESC and whether or not you use a governor. Tail gain for a Beast X is the exception. You typically adjust tail gain on your transmitter's gyro channel. But if you don't have tail wag in flight, leave it alone--it's set.

I know Ah Clem helped you by setting up your helicopter, so you should post your transmitter settings and go from there.

sing23,

I do not have your transmitter or FBL unit settings. I did not have a way to save either-my apologies.

Do you have a four cell nimh or nicad battery to do setup with (I would rather you did not do it with a live ESC for safety reasons).

Did you ever send your transmitter back in to Horizon as I recommended? As I recall, the throttle hold function was intermittent. I mentioned it to you in PM's and also publicly posted about it.

There may not be a reason to redo the setup! Read the manual, go through the settings. In order to properly setup an FBL unit you need some tools. Post what your settings are here--radio included--and we'll tell you what you need to do and why. The "WHY" is the most important part of the process!

Sing23,

The throttle curves are nowhere near how I set them. I had the Idle up curves in gentle "U" curves. You won't get the most out of it with flat throttle curves unless you have a governor (which you did not, when I had your machine).

Did someone else "adjust" if for you?
