Exclamation Warning about DXe radio update

Below is the text of a call for help I have sent to SpektrumRC/Horizon Hobby. Any comments or suggestions or similar experiences from you all would be appreciated. I will add to this thread if I hear from SpektrumRC/Horizon Hobby.

Help! My 230 S RTF is rendered unflyable after applying the upgrade Spektrum DXE V1.6 to the DXe radio.

After registering my DXe, the 'lite' version, that came with my recently purchased Blade 230S RTF, your website flagged up that there were updates available for my product. Seeing that my radio was on version 0.9 and V1.6 was being offered I thought I should do the update and then download the 230S Model settings file. So using my Windows 10 PC and the SPMA3065 Programming Cable, seemingly succesfully loaded the update to my DXe which now shows as being on version 1.6. Now the bad news, at the time of updating the model settings was the default blank 'Model'. With the update this must have overwritten the 230S setting in the radio as it was delivered. After the update I did rebind the helicopter with the radio. Now if I initialise the Helicopter and with throttle hold set try the control tests there is absolutely zero movement of the servos when moving the cyclic stick in all directions in all the flight mode selections. Also it will not enter Servo Adjustment Mode. As a result the Helicopter is uncontrollable and so unflyable.

Only after this did I notice your low key note:
Note: This version is not compatible with the PC Programmer. At this time, only the Android app is available to configure your settings. The iOS and PC versions are in the process of being updated and will be available shortly.

Why oh why was such a significant warning done as a low key note, not even in capitals of red to highligh it and catch the eye?

This was then compounded with the second note:

What the heck do I do now to get my 230S flyable again?
I don't have either an Android device or the USB to Audio programming cable.
How soon will the PC version of V1.6 be available?
Or alternatively can you send me an interim, V1.5 , SPMTX.SAX file as a work around?

I really do want to get flying again and I do think the warning for PC and iOS users on this update should have been much more visible with capitals and highlighting. You should know we mostly have the tendency in such things to shoot first and ask questions afterwards! I look forward to a helpful response.
