Default So should I get one?

I am happy with my 230s running 300 CFX motor. Just wondering should I get the 250?
Thanks

Since you already have the upgraded 230S IMHO I'd say no. Seeing your sig I assume you probably have a lot of MH stuff on it too.
If you want to stay with Blade for this purchase I would suggest a 270CFX or 360CFX. There are still some 2 blade 360's out there if you don't want the trio.
If you aren't insistent on having new, a slightly older Trex or Blade 450 sized model running 3S is an option. I wanted a belt drive or TT in my step up from the 230S and chose belt. The motorized tail just has it's limitations.

I left out all the other "better" brands that you already know about as they are not a valid comparison to the 250CFX product.

P.S. I loved the video of your attempt at a float 230S

Thanks for your reply. I have a 360 so not looking for my next heli.
I really like my 230s so if the 250 CFX is a big improvement I would replace my 230. Looking for feedback from pilots that have both.
I kinda think a hybrid stretched 230 with CF frame and more power, if it would be lighter than the 250 could be the best of both worlds.

Only pointing out that he was already in the right place. Wasn't trying to offend you.

I've seen your videos and believe you would have a good time with the 250cfx. As long as you can get it with coupons/discounts, it's a fair price. If you have to pay retail, it's a little over priced.

Performance wise, with a little tuning, I believe it will fit in your fleet quite well. I continue to tweak it each outing which is getting me closer and closer to my liking. Not as "floaty" as the 230S, plenty of power, but it's not a 270cfx!

Even with the criticism, since I have both, it has a place in my fleet.....fitting someplace between the 230 and the 270. No regrets at this point!

I may be interested in your 230 if it gets the boot. Lol

Just picked one up and in comparing it to my 230 (which I love but is using a RKH frame) it does feel a lot less toy like and well made, things like the CNC swash guide and servo horns are a nice touch. couple of things look a little naff like the doubling up of pad under the receiver and the plastic tail fin. It has good ground clearance for take off's and landings on grass.

Most impressive is the fact in pre-flight bench checks my swash was perfectly level and at zero pitch out of the box. The user manaual also has complete instructions including calibration, trim flight and PIDS.

I did put some duck tape in a coupe of places on the carbon frame to prevent cables chaffing but on the whole cable management seems fairly good and plenty of room to tweak it if you need. better access to the receiver is nice. Canopy vibrates a little and makes a rattle but i will probably replace that with a fibreglass canopy at some stage because i can't help myself.

If you love the 230 you will love the 250 and maybe just a little more.

How does it come you are satisfied with 300x/cfx 320H motor?

I read posts it is as “good“ (or worse) like 420H (4503D) and 440H e-flite motors?

What oil are you using?.... And how are you applying it?... Looks like the bearings are sealed?....Thanks for any advice!

In your spare time..... we would like a video of your lubrication practices!!

I believe that the 320H is actually a shielded design instead of a sealed design. This allows you to place a drop on the shield area and let it seep into the internals thus distributing the oil throughout the bearing(s) Once you place a drop on the shield, rotate the shaft several times to help distribution.
