Default Do You Ground Your Boom?

My Warp has been flying without issue all summer long. Out of the blue it has developed a strange problem. Sometimes it is fine. Other times the boom will shake up and down 3-5mm during hover. A half a dozen times it has kicked 90 degrees nose right from a stable hover. No control inputs change the behavior when it is acting up.

I have never had a problem with static in any of my helicopters and don't really know it's symptoms. No hardware or programing has been changed on the Warp.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Setup:

Ikon
Spectrun satellite
KST 215 Servos
Stock motor
Hobbywing Platinum 50

Nop, and never had static issues.
But I also spray the belts with silicone once in a while and that is a known way of killing statics.

I have never grounded the boom on either of the Warps. Both belts, on both machines, get a shot of silicon spray about once a year.

I have had no static issues with either Warp in this regard.

No grounding, no spraying the belt. No issues.

I ground mine to the Motor Mount just as a precaution. Have very dry air during the winter months which is the perfect condition to induce static.

Not like it's hard to do if your concerned about static issues.

I just noticed I never posted a follow up. I sprayed the belt with silicone and the tail kick went away. The bobbing up and down was caused by a tight ball link on the elevator servo.

Thanks for the help.
