Default Installing Xnova 4535 - 460, but the shaft...

Hi all,

looking to install a Xnova 4535-460 into my Logo 700.
But, ... got difficulty choosing the right shaft.
Xnova recommends a 8mm shaft but that doesn't fit into the standard 6mm bearin gholder.
I found shaft F for a 4525 that would be log enough and 6mm. Will that fit into the motor?
Do you have other suggestions?

Thanks!

I would not recommend that big heavy powerful motor for logo. This model truly gets by just fine on a smaller lighter 4525 or 4530. This heli is ballistic at 1900 with a little egodrift 4530 motor. I recently started using the egodrift motors. They are small, light and very very efficient, with probably the best power I've flown.

4525 has too much power for that. 4535 be crazy, if u are hard smacker best upgrade to xxtreme main gear, one way and pinion.

Hi guys,
thanks for the feedback, I understand that this motor maybe a bit too much for the Logo but I got a very good deal on it, very hard to say no to.

I'm not a hard smacker ;-), and will fly with low headspeeds in the beginning.
Will the 4525 F shaft fit do you think?

That would be appx 10mm too short.

They don't offer an appropriate shaft for the LOGO 700, neither for the 4530 nor the 4535, but at least the 4530's shorter 6x51mm shaft can be made to work well *enough*.

A friend of mine flies the 4530 with the 6x51mm shaft and placed a 1.5mm shim below the counterbearing, yielding enough engagement between shaft and bearing to safely fly.

I don't know if you can get away with the 6x50mm shaft on the 4535 that way, but it may be worth a try.

.
The F shaft for a 4525 is 56mm?

But I don't know if that shaft technically fits in the 4535.

Too short inside the motor. A 4535 stator physically is 10mm longer than a 4525.

Johnny, can you make a Real Flight 7/8 rendition of the Glogo?

Your other RF versions of Logos are superb.

Thanks
