Default Tail Blades

What size tail blades is everyone using on this heli. I have some wag with the stock blades but really haven't started messing with any FB settings yet.

Stock blades. Steady as can be and I've never adjusted anything in the flybarless unit.

Make sure sure your grips are assembled and correctly and everything is smooth.

RT-106 for up to 700mm blades, RT-116 for anything larger.

Wag may be an issue with the spacer that goes between the radial and thrust bearing. Because of the design of the tail grips, the shim/spacer is not retained by the grip and can simultaneously contact both the inner and outer races of the radial bearing. The way I stopped that was to line up the shim on the inner race of the thrust bearing and fix it with a drop of thin CA.

As best I know, if this is our issue, trying to resolve it with radio settings doesn't work.

I’m going to try out the NHP 110’s with the VTX 717’s. First I need to build it.

Anyone running 110’s or 116’s with VTX 717’s?
