Default Naza M V2 update disaster

Ok I had my laptop hooked to my controller (Naza M V2) running 4.02 firmware and all was good. I decided to upgrade to 4.04 as the little pop up advised me to do. Well after a few minutes it popped up and said that the update had failed and that I should cycle power on the controller. I did this and when I turned the controller back on the Assistant software would not recognize the controller.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit. Also every since I did the power cycle like it instructed me to do a few other things are happening. The green light on the led indicator will only go green when it is plugged into the USB cable for the Assistant software. When I disconnect it and turn my radio on and power on the quad the speed controls do not chime or initialize and the led stays off. My receiver lights up solid showing it is receiving the signal from the radio.

I have uninstalled drivers and software and reinstalled. I can see the USB port open on com5 and have even installed everything on another computer. Also I have tried jumping F1 to F2 with a servo lead but to no avail...

PLEASE HELP!!!

A stupid question. Is it an actual V2 or a Naza Lite flashed to V2?

I ask, because a Lite flashed to V2 will brick if flashed above 4.02, but is recoverable. Did recover my Son's when he flashed his Lite to V2 controller to V4.04, as the Assistant suggested.

If you want to, you can send me the controller, I can attempt to recover it and send it back to you. Just an option.
