Default I think I have an issue...

Is there such a thing as having too many helicopters? I'm up to 16 that fly and two airframes that are missing parts.

No such thing, I have every helicopter I ever purchased since the 1970s.

Cannot bear to part with any of them.

If the size of your fleet in with in your budget and not impacting on other aspects of your life, family and home.

I have 4 and was thinking thats about 2 too many LOL. Goblin 500 sport could easily go as I really don't like the way it flies anymore. The rest it would be a harder choice to get rid of one.

OH, I guess I have 5. Forgot about the oxy 2 ... that one could easily go. It serves no purpose really for me.

You're asking the patients if you belong in the asylum.

Haha, that is what I am gathering!

I got the three larger Align helis for free last week (600e pro dfc, 600e pro Flybar, 550e Flybar) and with these three larger birds in my workshop, I walk in and thought to myself "I've now crossed into the heli hoarder territory".

At least I fly almost all of them (except for the blade micros) frequently.

I know I could come here to feel more "normal" cause my wife and kids think I am crazy!

To the OP, I think you’re on the wrong form. There might be a Helicopters Anonymous group somewhere, but it’s not here.

Actually, having only 16 Heli’s might get you shamed. It’s barely enough to actually qualify to be a be a member here at HeliFreak!

Crap...I think you have the exact INVERSE of the problem I may also have. Confirmation of this however is still dependent upon my confirming that I may or may not have so many grounded airframes and therefore I declare you cured!

Good point. I've tried to explain to my wife that I'm saving those to teach my daughter's how to fly, but all I get is an eye roll from her with that rationalization!

Yeah. I'm down to 14 after realizing I had an issue. Now I'm content. Was it even an issue?

The wife said I had too much R/C stuff, said I spent too much money on it. She gave me an ultimatum to get rid of all of it. She said it was either her or the R/C stuff.

There was only one choice.

So are you missing her/wanting her back yet?

He got rid of her and got another who can coexist. More like an upgrade.
