Default Scorpion 160A Opto Initial calibration Issue

Hi Guys,

I have an Issue with doing the inital calibration with my ESC on a Vbar Neo.
The manual says to turn on TX with full throttle and after 2 beeps getting down to 0 throttle.
The Problem is if I do that I don't get these 2 beeps to get into throttle calibration.
I must say it's my first Vbar Neo, looks like there have some few things which have changed. And also on my other Vbars I have all plugged the ESC leads directly to the RX, so I don't know what I have done wrong.

I want to run to run scorpion gov on it.
Anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks

Phil

I think the Vbar goes into fail safe if you power it up with full throttle.

There is a feature in the gov menu which allows you to use the collective channel for throttle. Use that to calibrate your ESC and after that, turn the gov off...

Thanks for your reply.

So in fact I have to set Gov1 to external gov and in Gov2 I activate throttle to stick on with the endpoints on -100 to 100 on the Neo?

I quess so...

I am running the Vbar gov so I can't tell for sure. For Vbar gov the endpoints in the ESC are correct out of the box, so I did not calibrate them.
