Michael, yes we're fine thank you. I live in Oklahoma City, OK. We only get tornadoes, massive hail, ice storms and earthquakes here.

Are the VTX 696 mm main blade good for low head speeds ? Like 1150 to 1200 rpm ?

Youtube => "VTX 697 Low".... watch video of Johnny flying at 1150... (Jonas W....). Yes, it really flies great from my personal experience too.... (much fun: 2x2650mAh 6s Lipo = 0.8kg for Low Rpm)

Ciao

But I do think you're right about return on investment. Unless we can find a few of y'all out there who would cough up around $500.00 for ONE set of custom built tail blades. Then I might think about taking this on as a hobby.
In scale that's not unusual, especially with multi-tail blades (I'm running cascade 4 blades on one and 3 blades on another) - we're regularly used to paying up to $1k for a set of mains.

Asymmetric would be of great interest to scale builders as tail authority is often marginal due to the lower HS and also increased torque of a multi blade main rotor.

We will need to rework this blade. The aftermath of the hurricane damage in Florida doesn't help at all. I have no details - there's been zero comm's with me.

This is going to take lots of time - just wanted to not leave y'all hanging with zero information. More to follow when available.

Bill.

Maybe a 2018 release?

VTX design the blades. Funkey manufacture them. I suspect the backlog is there as they also supply to almost every other brand. If there's a big Align (or whoever) backlog then it will have big downstream effects

Fun fact for you, Align blades are actually made by Hawk-RC, they also produce Compass, RJX, JR, Revolution, ALZRC, (Eflite) Blade and a few more

That's why I put or whoever in brackets. My point was that they probably have big orders to fulfill

Just got a set of 557s in from Hong Kong. Got lost in NJ for two weeks. NJ and the USPS = black hole. But at least they are here. Can't wait to try them out on my Logo.

Not sure which Hawk-RC you mean? It's not the one I know.

Guys, sorry for being off topic. Just I was asked to clear a misunderstanding.
