Default Align RCE-BL100A Trex 550X Burned/Fire in flight

Hi guys,

My esc Align Rce-bl100a Hes10001 remake/rebrand Hobbywing V4 120A burned in flight, very white smoke. The internal Bec continued working, I was able to land my Trex 550X.

Last weekend, the esc shutdown in flight, disabled LVC and resolved!

Is this ESC insufficient for the 550X? Or is it about failure in QC?
I am very disappointed!

My Setup:
Gov Store = 2430rpm TC=75%
Gov Parameter P = 4
Gov Parameter I = 5
Start Up Time = 15s
Auto Restart Time = 90s
Restart Acceleration Time = 1.5s
LVC = Disabe / Soft
Timing = 15
AFW = ON

Update, installed a new HW100 v3, motor runs JR receiver powered up, beastx is dead. I even tried to power it with the bec as if running satellites, still dead. I will be calling enterprise in the morning. Received an email from Amain, they said they didn't have the esc in stock and to contact enterprise.

had a fire myself so far align customer support is a joke glad i did not buy parts and count on be reimburse my new esc caught fire mid air on about the 3 maybe 4th flight.

So far i have to mail to ca so they can judge which i am fine with past that sounds like they will be offering me 30% discount on the parts they want to sell me so they will still profit I am sure and i am not even sure if the esc that caught fire is included or if they are generous enough to replace it.

Though after reading the above experience I might be ok but seems like a bunch of shit guess i should have went to hobbywing thought it made more sense to buy from align since it was going on my align 550l that i upgraded to the new x anyway will post final results

*edit* i emailed them about a problem with the esc not allowing me to program throttle end points that got no response. Figured since it was align esc for the 550 i was ok that and i have the programming box that allows for all adjustments besides throttle end points. can express my disappointment with them not like 4th of july weeked is a time many of us fly

The align support did not give me any care. I'm disappointed.
I bought a new esc with my money, I have about 100 flights @2600rpm gov store mode, no problem so far. I think this is a QC problem.
