Default Xnova 4530 8d replacement shaft for logo 700

Hi guys really need some help here. I'm have an xnova motor 4530 8d 500kv motor. It's was used in my logo 700xx. I have now sold my xtreme and about to purchase the new plastic logo 700 and believe I need to replace the motor shaft to a 6mm one.

Now i can see from the xnova website they do 2 shafts that are 6mm. I am not to sure of which one i would need. The (a) or the (e) which is longer.

Any help would be great. Wouldn't want to sell the motor as i really think it's great.

You need 55mm of shaft length out of the motor in 6mm diameter to use the stock gearing options. Wish I could find a shaft for my 5065-500kv Savox that would work.

I just fitted the 4530 xnova to my new logo 700 I had to use the "E" shaft from a 4535 !!! that's right, a 4535,... this gives enough shaft protrusion for full penetration of the lower bearing support... the "E" 4030 shaft only goes about half way through...
You do have to shim the lower end of the motor shaft , by the C clip as, it now stticks out an extra 5MM I used an old 6mm dia 5mm thick bearing inner race ....
You will also need to grind a flat on the new shaft 25mm down frim the mounting face of the motor....
I was unable to find a correct shaft from X nova !
Hope this helps

I have an Xera 4530 that I’m putting on a Logo 700. Dimensions of the motor and bearings are the same as an XNova 4530. Doing the same thing as Rachel but just using a KDE shaft:

You also have the option of running the 700xx main gear and pinion in plastic 700. Mikado sells a bearing support made for 8mm shaft. There is a thread somewhere in helifreak listing the parts needed.

Some pictures of the shaft change on an xera 4530. Just need to make a spacer now.

Ground off the outer race on an 8x14x4 bearing and the inner race fits perfectly as a spacer between the motor bearing and the c-clip. The KDE shaft stands 54 mm off of the motor and it will fully engage the lower bearing on the Logo 700 motor mount.
