I like 130X because of its light disc loading (lightweight nature) and how floaty it felt in the air.

Hopefully, if HH decides to re-release it, they fix the following downsides:
1) fragile TT tail mechanics -> belt;
2) linear servos (which required frequent cleaning) with 1 servo being enclosed inside the frame -> rotary please;
3) inrunner main motor which ran very hot -> outrunner;
4) expensive 3-in-1 unit ESC portion of which broke twice on my heli -> split systems like ESC + FBL/Rx. The heli may not require S.A.F.E., but telemetry is welcomed.

I'm sure it could be done, and I am not saying that it's a bad idea.

BUT: I have noticed that when HH re-issues a model, it usually doesn't live up to the original. And I would prefer maximum parts commonality between the original and reissue.

Don't misunderstand me, I'd be the first in line to buy one if HH were to offer it.

Forgive me if I am threadjacking, but I actually thought of a good simple upgrade for a reissued 130X that would improve it and not cause too many issues with parts commonality.

Make the frame halves attach, not with screws, but with bolts threaded into nuts on the other side.

Pros: Never strip out a tailshaft or bearing mounting screw again!

Cons: More parts and it may be tricky to get the nano-size nuts to thread.

I'd also beef up the area where the cyclical servos mount to the frame. I have seen too many frames ruined by a broken mount, especially on the left (port) side.

A new Fusion 250 with a Belt Drive Tail, ya i know we have a 270 BUT , they could put the new FC6250HX FBL on it and they already have the frame and head from the 250CFX , from HHs standpoint, this would make a perfect next Fusion model i think...I would buy it for sure to replace my 230s ..

I would appreciate a 550. It's all there, the 550X Frame, identic to the 600X Frame. Put the FC6250HX on it, and sell it RTF/BNF. Parts from the last Pro Kit, Servos, Motors, and SMART ESC. A 550/600 BNF equipped with Telemetry and Rescue.

I like the idea of an updated 130X, but HH has a checkered history with updates.

I'd buy an updated 130X, I'd buy several, but I'd be happier if HH just gave us our 130X back and let us handle the updates part.

I would like to see an electric where I didn't have to remove the canopy every time to change the flight pack.

I'd like to know if HH actually looks at this thread in particular, or even looks at HF in general. Seems like everything is fb these days.

Supposedly they do. In days of yore, from time to time, we used to get responses from purported HH personnel. I do not recall seeing such a response in some time, FWIW.

I've also been spamming HH on FB and also their webpage about our need for a reissue of the 130X in all its glory. I suggest that you all do the same.

HF has become the place where you post the stuff you saw on FB.
I'm not able to chat with Alan Szabo or Bob White (Finless) here .

I would like to see something with a high quality esc that doesn’t fail and super fast serviceable heli. Blade did great job with trim flight vs the the timely beast x swash level, blade balance on larger heli that takes so much time.

How about a small size 3D practice heli with plugs on both side of servos. Easy fast removal to repair anything. Main shaft, just pulls Thur without ever taking apart anything. The ultimate pop off pop on heli. Design with breakaway parts to protect hard lengthy service areas. Lol

My 130s is quick but if it has two sided plugs on real metal gear servos and a main shat that slides out with strong carbon frame With breakaway post and indestructible canopy that would be cool. Something like an ultimate 3D practice heli.

This is a good idea actually. They could have a line of these helis and could start with a double BL nano

Or, they could at least offer a double BL upgrade kit for the nano. I recall Walkera doing double BL micro-helis, like, 10 years ago, and later offering double BL upgrade kits for their brushed helis.

So, the tech is not impossible.

Yes could do that, I actually like the break-away and fast-fix ideas too. There are options Blade if you are listening.... just keep the nano under 250g

Years ago this was presented to HH...they denied it was possible regardless of BLHeli and Mega’s Micros and other aftermarket options
