I been following this, whats to stop him from just opening another helifreak acc? and starting all over again? until caught, again.
and how is it possible that ANY person can create multiple acc?
seems there has been a rash of these clone acc's lately.
shouldn't it be caught right away when they try to open another acc through the ip address?

The problem with that is that these days, most people don't have a static IP address...
They were working on a way for use the unique hardware identifiers in your computer parts to block known criminals, but I've not heard anything about that for some time now..

I recognize that RChelishop email. Its come up several times in several different scam threads on multiple forums going back for a while. It seems this loser does this for living.

These guys rely on people falling for these "trade" scams but its easy to weed them out. Both parties should always agree on a fair market value for the items being traded, and then in essence buy the items from each other through Pay Pal so there is a record of the transaction.

Its still a net zero trade, but if one takes the money and runs, the other will get his money back from PP. Any legitimate person will have no problem doing this because it protects both parties, but the scammer will never be heard from again when you request this

As was posted above, not many people have static IP addresses from their service providers. It's a simple thing to get another IP address, create another email address and make a new account.

There is a system in place to catch those not smart enough to change the IP, and it catches a few, but it's not perfect.

Clearly this guy has a long track record of questionable activity and the authorities should be brought in to play.

Don't know what the outcome was. I PM'd the victim to follow up.

Yes, he did make another account; that's at least 8 accounts we've been able to find. All of them have been banned.
