Default Balance lead only charging??

I've asked this question once before a while ago but since there have been several firmware changes to the BC I'm not sure how to do this.

I'm wanting to use the FMA parallel board to charge a few of my 2s 150x packs. They only have a balance connector and no main leads.

I believe the old process was to create a bump tag and uncheck "balance" but this was for 1s packs. I've tried to create a new tag but cancelled at the final step before the no turning back screen and have also tried manual charging. Both say "no pack" and/or "bad cell count".

I've also tried changing from JST/XH to FMA and no difference. Instructions would be appreciated.

Someone will probably come forward and tell you how to do it in the software, but if all else fails you can make an adapter out of a balance lead extension cable.
Take a battery connector that suits your board (Deans, EC5 or whatever) with a couple of tails soldered on and tap the tails into the outer two wires of the balance cable (with correct polarity obviously).

Yes, you want to buy/make appropriate cable/board to split out balance into balance+mains for the PL.
I do exact same for UMX connector packs for micro heli - i bought one of the small safe balance boards and replaced the banana plugs with a Deans female so i can just plug it into the MPA (along with the 2s balance cable) and parallel charge several on the micro board.
