Default MSH Brain and Graupner integration

Are there any plans in the near future of Brain integration with Graupner radios.

It's already in early beta.

And I'm one of the beta testers. I can't disclose anything beyond saying that progress is being made pretty quickly.

We're getting really close, folks. Graupner is also making some changes to their receivers' firmware to speed up telemetry communications, which should eliminate most of the lag when viewing/changing settings on all telemetry modules, including the Brain 2.

It's important to note that Graupner integration will only be available on the Brain 2; the Brain 1 just doesn't have sufficient processing power or flash memory capacity.

It's released! Version 3.1.

If you're running any receiver other than a GR-12L, you may notice that the menus are laggy. Graupner is currently beta testing new firmware (6.39) that speeds up the menus tremendously.

I must publicly thank TheBum (Alan) without which telemetry and integration could not have been realized in this way and so quickly.
Thank Alan for the effort and the help!

You can already see some images in the PDF instuction document that you can find in the Windows programs menu, inside the Brain folder or under "MANUALS" inside the Brain application (that you can run also in demo mode) toghether the other documents.

I can try to take some shots this evening. Unfortunately, all the ones I've shot up to this point were private ones to BrainDev illustrating bugs in the beta.

Here are a few shots of menus. The first is the main Brain menu.

Manual downloaded from lastest Brian2 software:
README for BRAIN2 HoTT TELEMETRY and INTEGRATION
Version 1.0 05 June 2017
Pag.3/3 Note 9:
The HoTT integration was developed and tested with HoTT transmitter MZ-18 with firmware version 1.050, with HoTT receiver GR-24L with firmware version 3.90, HoTT receiver GR-16 with firmware version 6.39, and HoTT receiver GR-12L with firmware version 1.90

So it's about Brain test with:
MZ-18 with firmware version 1.050
-> doesn't exist! last version is 1.042 16/09/16
https://www.graupner.com/Updates/?p=1&sFilterTags=mz-18

receiver GR-24L with firmware version 3.90
-> doesn't exist! last version is 3.80 del 18/04/17
https://www.graupner.com/Updates/?p=1&sFilterTags=GR-24

receiver GR-16 with firmware version 6.39
-> doesn't exist! last version is 6.38 del 18/04/17
https://www.graupner.com/Updates/?p=1&sFilterTags=GR-16

So, the question is: does it works even with actual official version? or shall we wait for the manual version indicated ?

thanks

Default MSH Brain and Graupner integration

Itíll work fine with currently released firmware versions. Iíve run it with an MZ-24 Pro with 2.021 and a GR-16L with 6.38.

Iím currently running the GR-16L with a beta version of 6.39, the only difference being a significant increase in telemetry data throughput, i.e. the menus are a lot faster.
