Default Tribunus 130A for 12/14 cell ?

Well, I am in need of a new ESC, and a 130A 14 cell Tribunus would be great. Sounds like it may be in the works?

Anybody have any info on a current timeline if Scorpion is working on it?

If its going to be awhile, I may try the 200A version, does anybody have a real world weight on one of those? Looks like there are different numbers floating around.

Thanks Guys!

Thanks Ozzy, that's lighter than advertised.

Mine even came out a little less and it sure is a lot less than my Kontronik or my HW.

And size wise too:

I got my Tribunus 200 down to 200g. Cables ended up being pretty short but was best for my Protos 800 wiring.

I was also hoping for the 130 to be 14s. I currently have a HW 130 on my 700. But with the way my Tribunus 200 is working on my 800 I would really like to try the 130 on my 700. Just won't have the option for 14s.

Agree, the 130 would be nicer if it supported 14 cells. Although, 200 grams is pretty light for the 200.

Other than that, The HW 130 I think is 160+- grams which looks to be the only other option.

Nobody has any word on a release date for the 130 Tribunus?

I think the 130 is still a way out. The 300 should be next, then another 700 class, then possibly the 130.

I have been using the 200 ESCs on my 600s. Logo 600SE, Rave 635 and now a Synergy E5S.

I'm thinking of going this route, my E6 has been down for awhile and would like to fly it again, plus thinking of stretching it to the usual E7 and i imagine it would be great for that.

I hope it comes out soon. I just had a boom strike with my 570 due to a link popping off and don't want to replace the esc with another talon. Does anyone know how much headroom these things like?

I need a new ESC to finish my Compass Chronos build... do you think the 130A will be enough or is it better to invest in a 200A ... with a Scorpion 4525-520 Ultimate (first generation) ? Anybody has an idea of the price difference ? Thanks

You can't really go wrong with the 200. Yes the amps are overkill for most of us but it is a compact and light esc. And with the 200 you have the option to use 14s and/or move it up to an 800, speed heli, etc if you want. The 130 will be only good for a couple applications.

No idea on price difference.

Yes I think the 200 is a little bit overkill... and I don't plan to go 14s... I have a HW160 for my Protos Max Evo 770 and It is more than enough so why not the 130... I will wait for the specs and the price...
