Default Synergy question (Justin/Nick)

Anyone know the history of Justin's aversion to Synergy (assuming he still can't comment), as referenced in some 2013 episodes?
This was when Nick (news) announced the E7 SE update with the torque tube--at least Nick could say the word (Synergy) and acknowledged the improvement. Before that update, Nick had listed it as the heli he was most glad to get rid of.
Thanks--I understand if no one feels free to explain.
(according to Dan--"Synergy is to Justin as Compass is to Dan"--implying nuff said)

If I remember correctly, the original Synergy E7 stock belt had reported failures. I believe this was rectified by using after-market Kevlar reinforced belts. Could that have been Justin's issue with Synergy?
