Default VTX on Nitro 700, what size?

I have a trex 700l electric and trex 700 dfc nitro with an x head. I'm currently running vtx 697 on my electric and love them so I bought a set of 717 because I see so many guys preferring them over the 697's. My question is this, will the 105 engine do well with the 717's or should I stretch my electric and run the 717 on there so I can then run the others on my nitro?

I would run the 717s on the electric and the 697s on the nitro.

I put the 697's on my 700 nitro pro and love them. The increase in apparent power is noticeable. I had to reduce the pitch because I was bogging the engine more than before.

697 on nitro. It's crazy light, and 697 is all you need.

I can get _a lot_ more out of of cyclic power with vtx. It enables maneuvers I struggled with on other blades with nitro. Cyclic is a lot more capable.
