Arrow Spektrum and Brain2: A New Era of Integration, Telemetry and RF Link Reliability

We are very excited to announce the latest innovation by MSH with Brain2!

It's possible for full integration with Spektrum with complete access to all the Brain2 parameters directly from your Spektrum transmitter. This is in addition to the already ground breaking full telemetry and ESC integration already offered by Brain.

More importantly, Brain2 now supports triple receiver redundancy with the Spektrum 4649T and dual DSMX satellites. This creates likely the most robust link solution on the market, and works with the Spektrum DSMX satellites you already own. Note you must have a 4649T to take advantage of the integration and telemetry. Satellites alone do not support these features.

We expect the new Spektrum integration to be available later this week. We will have a demo available at IRCHA. A limited quantity of 4649T will be available for purchase at the Only Fine Heli's booth.

The only prerequisite is that you go to the Spektrum website and update to the latest airware (available since 7/11/2017). The MSH team at IRCHA can help you setup your heli's for full Spektrum integration.

It's a great time to be a Spektrum/Brain2 pilot!

Here is a short video by Myles showing the new Spektrum integration in action.

I guess this settles the debate on whether I need to switch radios or not.

I really didn't think Spektrum had the capability for integration.

This is amazing, I'm excited about the innovations that you guys are pushing out. I'm definitely happy being a Brain2 pilot.

Not only did you follow up on the discussions we had a while ago about the redundancy with SRXL and satellites but you even made integration possible. That's a big thing for Spektrum users and hopefully will prevent some (including me) to move away from them.

Now, I only have to figure out where to buy a SPM4649t that is HV safe in Germany/Europe. Even SpektrumRC (US) website only states 7.5V for this receiver and HorizonHobby Germany don't have any available.

The updated receivers are all shipping now that can do 8.4V no problem. However if you have the older 4649T it's easy enough to use a step down if you want.

But now also you can use 1 or 2 additional DSMX satellites, so this is a great solution for even the largest model. And likely with triple redundancy is the most robust RF link possible.

We will have several 4649's at IRCHA for anyone wanting to set up their Spectrum radio with Brain2.

Too bad I jumped ship from Spektrum recently, but I didn't do it over Tx integration, rather the cost for more channels. It's actually the Brain controllers I switched to that motivated me to go with more channels. Hopefully you guys will integrate the system I'm using next.

well, I must say I didn't see that one coming.
I'm glad for all spektrum users (and after the 4649 voltage debacle it didn't look good )
They get again free value from MSH !!!
which is super for everybody. Because it shows MSH tries to get all the users onboard.

Default yahoooo!

For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to justify going to a system with full integration, but didn't want to get rid of my brains. This solves all of my problems!

I thought it would use the standard click wheel menu navigation but that'll work. It's still better than the Bluetooth or worse even a laptop at the field. You can even do without the Bluetooth and save $20 on a unit without BT. Great job! I have two 4649T of the old ones but I run 380 and 420 at 7V anyways and I was holding out to buy an 80A and get mAh consumed but I may try it now.

mind blown. (stick movement ... damn )
I wouldn't pick up the challenge to configure a Brain 2 with this.
but at least a quick adaption is certainly possible. how do you switch to the different Setups ? or do you need to be in a certain setup to be able to change that setting ?

But damn stick movements usage on a TX , assume alot of companies, would point to => plz update to the next generation TX to be able to configure ...

Integration is mainly intended to refine and adjust parameters at the field, so sticks will do..............actually i found it easier to use with sticks than other integrations when i first tested it

Corrado

p.s. i understand you have to justify the jeti somehow (great radio)
