Default temperature motor hot

Hello all,

I run a tribunus 200 together with an align 850 mx.
i have the feeling that since i switched to tribunus the motor gets hotter. i cannot touch it for more then 2 seconds, especially the upper part of the motor.

Since u cannot set the pwm rate manually i cannot change to lower pwm to get the motor cooler but the esc warmer. i have a fan on the tribunus and it gets max 42 degree celcius.

Any ideas?

The Tribunus is generally a more aggressive ESC. In my experience it can run the motor hotter but makes more power. More power is only a problem if you're getting way too much heat, but if you can touch it for 2 seconds the motor is usually no more than 140 degrees Fahrenheit or 60 degrees Celsius which is child's play for any quality motor.

42 Degrees Celsius is also nothing to worry about. I sit around 67 after a normal flight.
