Default How to configure DS14 for Brain 2?

I have searched over many set up videos and can't find anything that refers to radio set up. Mostly my issue is how to do the Tx page in the Brain software. I am able to do the typical stuff like Aileron, Elevator, Tail, Pitch and Throttle. But when it comes to the Tail gain, Aux and Set up Switch I can't get anything to work. Nor do I really know where to begin.

Anyone?

It's done in functions assignment under model menu. There's already a gyro sense function built in. I've added custom functions for setup and rescue. You can assign the rx channels to use per function under servo assignment. To set the values for gyro go to flight tuning menu and gyro sense is there. All this is in pg75 of user manual.

Can you make a video anyway. I am sure it will benefit many and myself I. The future.

Part 2 of the setup uploaded which explains the channel mappings and shows a little extra to figure out which channels affect what functions in the Brain.

Jeti - Brain - Setup Part 2 (13 min 20 sec)
PJing, Necroscope and BrainDev like this.

Wow, great videos. I too am just setting up a DC14 to Brain. So very helpful to say the least.

My question is to do with the switches. In the switch menu, there are so many options, but it is not clear how the switches works, it is very much a game of ticks and crosses. eg, it took me all night to put my Flight modes onto a 3 position switch, and then to map that to tail gain, and my throttle curves was just plain hard work. Any simple way of understanding how the switch menu works? And how everything interacts within the Jeti, thanks

Hi, I haven't watched the videos mentioned above, I am sure they are good, but here is one from Esprit Tech for basic heli setup.

Helicopter Programming: Basic Setup (12 min 53 sec)

I used that to get me started before starting on the Brain, there is another video good here that explains about setting up you trim buttons to adjust gyro gain.

Jeti Gyro trim (2 min 20 sec)

@necroscope

I made those videos thinking there was no others like it Serves me right for not looking first.

Anyways i think it gives another point of view which hopefully helps someone. In any case i was amazed to see how similar their setup was to mine down to him referring to banks instead of "setup" as the MSH Brain fbl calls it.

Thanks for posting those though i am sure this thread should help someone going forward setting up a fbl controller with the Jeti system

I have found it useful to watch different videos relating to the same subject with Jeti, some time you will see someone do something a little different and this can help you earn the Jeti system a bit better.
Well thats been my experience anyway.
Like setting up trim buttons to adjust gyro gains, or putting your gyro on a curve and using a rotational nob to make adjustment for example.
I just like trying out different things on a wet winters day and learning more about the system.
Not sure how many people have a Jeti here in New Zealand.
Oh on a side not, sorry about the Rugby.
