Taking the motor, servos and esc out of a 180cfx and putting them in a Oxy2 with a Micro Ikon FBL?

Stock 5800kV? 11t if you like to smack hard; 10t for sport or smooth 3D at more moderate HS. But probably can't smack without bogging that motor so I think I'd just go with the 10t. That's based on my experience with the 5500kV Lynx motor. Someone who's actually used the stock 180 motor will have a more relevant perspective.

Thanks Wargamer.

I like to smack but smack don't like me

Right now I just want to get up in the air cheap and crank and bank with a cheap Oxy 2.

I'm hopefully buying a used 180 CFX and then switch the electronics over to a OXY2.

I already have two 180's so I get extra crash parts out of the new used one.

after flying the Oxy2, you may end up shelving your 180cfx's! good news is if you sell these you can fund better gear for the Oxy2

For sure. I have 2 brand new 180cfx and i don't care to fly them. And they make a great backyard bird, but they are no oxy 2.
Almost all of my home flights are exclusively the oxy 2. You can't beat the convenience of a small bird that flys like a large heli. I get tired of packing up to go to the field and wait for planks to come down so I can get 5 mins in and they fly for 15.
Just walk out the back door and fly!
